Make our Annual Fund something to tweet about!
Have you heard? A little bird mentioned that 68% of SFDS families have participated in the 2010-2011 Annual Fund, raising over $870,000 to date. In addition, every member of our faculty, staff and board of trustees have made a gift. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to eveyone who has donated to this important fundraising campaign.
If you have yet to make a gift to the Annual Fund, please do! Each year, we count on our community to reach our goal of 100% participation in the Annual Fund. This year our dollar goal is $1,100,000. Every gift makes a difference and makes an immediate impact on our school and our students.
Don’t forget, SFDS will throw a party in honor of the first class to reach 100% participation. The competition is very close, with 6th grade Class Captains, Wendy Miller and Howard Holderness driving an early lead for their grade.
Check out the status updates from some of our classes:
Kindergarten: “Almost there, K’ers! 73% – let’s drive this home!”
4th Grade: “Remember the awesome party we won last year? Let’s do this again!”
6th Grade: “Can you spell P-A-R-T-Y? In the lead with 79%!”
8th Grade: “46%? Really? Let’s GO, 8th Grade!!”
