The second and sixth grades had a joint field trip to Fort Funston to study the geology of the area. Because they have all been studying geology in science class, the students were prepared to make observations about the sedimentations on the bluff. It was wonderful to see the sixth graders in the role of teachers, helping the second graders make observations and gain some new understandings about the area.
