Understanding the Challenges of an Online World

Understanding the Challenges of an Online World

The SFDS technology department recently hosted two meetings to address parental concerns surrounding children and their consumption of technology. These meetings were designed to create an open forum for families to share anecdotes, ask questions, and debunk student-driven myths, such as “everyone else in my class has an iPhone!”

Welcome Back from Parents Association

Welcome Back from Parents Association

Welcome back! To borrow a phrase from the Andy Williams’ classic Christmas song, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” No, I’m not referring to the holiday season, but that magical time known as Back-to-School. Gone are the bored, glazed eyes and constant sibling nitpicking that peak about the third week of August in our household. Instead, I see bright, happy faces that are excited about new and old friends, learning, lockers, and lunch. They’re happier and I’m happier.

From the Bottom of our Hearts

Gracias a nuestra comunidad for helping to make our Latin extravaganza such a successful fundraiser for the discounted tuition program. We truly appreciate how the families in our school came together to make CultureFest such a fund and spirited event. Viva La Vida Loca!
