SFDS Student Congress is organizing a holiday drive to support Bay Area Women’s and Children’s Center. Boxes will be in the Masonic Lobby for donations of toiletries, socks, and women’s clothing. Thank you!

The Day School community came together to participate in our second Thanksgiving meal preparation and distribution. Under the guidance of resident chef, Jason Tognetti, 400 meals were cooked, assembled, and distributed throughout the city.

On Thursday, April 7, families all over the city will be exchanging four wheels for two as they participate in the annual San Francisco Bike to School Day. This is the third year for this event, and with the support of interested parents, teachers and individual schools, 3000 riders at more than 40 schools are anticipated to participate.

Last month, SFDS hosted a town hall meeting with parents, faculty and several members of our local community. This meeting is just one of many ways we are stepping up neighborhood relations, and we were pleased with the level of openness and interest we received from our NOPNA neighbors.
