Greenfamilies@sfds.net!

Recycling gets tremendous hype, but what about the third R: Reuse? The faculty and staff parents of young children would like to conveniently reuse infant and children’s items within our community, and we’re hoping you’ll get involved. If you have gently used items for children ages 0-6 that you’re looking to clean out of your drawers, closets, or garages, we’d love to know. Simply email greenfamilies@sfds.net with a brief description of what you’d like to pass on and we’ll connect you with a faculty or staff member who would love to use those items. In particular, we are currently looking for a child’s art table, a train or car set with tracks and vehicles, clothes sizes 3 or 4, a training bicycle without pedals, an outdoor toddler basketball hoop (or other fun yard toys), a double breast pump, a changing table pad, bassinet sheets, baby blankets, and a swing (preferably plug in or with a/c adapter). Less really can be more!
