We are excited to kick off what we know will be another great year for the San Francisco Day School’s 2009-2010 Annual Fund. The entire parent community has already received the Annual Fund package in the mail. We hope you can help us reach our goals of $1.1 million and 100% participation.
On Wednesday night, volunteers convened at school for the Annual Fund Phonathon. Led by co-chairs, Chris Barber, Rob Hurlbut and Claudia Lewis, volunteers made calls to parents encouraging pledges and contributions to this year’s campaign. Each grade has a class captain and a team of enthusiastic volunteers working toward 100% participation by grade.
As an incentive to get every family to pledge, the co-chairs announced that the first class to reach 100% participation first will win a parent party hosted by Phyllis & David Jackson at their house in the Presidio. Who will own bragging rights? Fifth grade, led by Sally Palmer? Will Steve Symanovich and the eighth grade throw down to have one last party before they leave SFDS for high school? Or will Gail Chang rally kindergarten with a first-year win? Only you can help decide. Make a pledge today!
SFDS faculty and staff are closing in on 100% participation. Annual Fund faculty co-chairs Nicholas Anton and Zanetta Harris inspired the team with incredible hip hop appeal. Everyone from our maintenance crew to teachers to administration has stepped up to support our school with a gift. This year, many faculty and staff have generously chosen to contribute through payroll deductions.
Help us make this a banner year with a contribution to the 2009-2010 Annual Fund today. Every gift makes a difference.
