Congratulations to all the students who participated in this year’s MATHCOUNTS competition held at Presidio Middle School on Saturday, February 27th. This year’s team included Zach H., Aaron M., Harrison L., Morgan C., Adam K., and Noah M. Their coach was Brian Jones. MATHCOUNTS is a national enrichment, club and competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement through programs in every U.S. state. Currently in its 27th year, MATHCOUNTS is one of the country’s largest programs of its kind. To prepare for the competition, students worked with two different coaches one day after school from September until February.
