SFDS’s first New York alumni event was a huge success! On Friday, November 19 over twenty alumni and their guests gathered for a reception at Macao Trading Co. in Tribeca, a restaurant owned by Class of ’93 alumna Dagny Mendelsohn. Over wine and delicious hors d’oeuvres, alumni reconnected with old friends and met fellow alumni residing in the Big Apple. Terry Gumz, Director of Development, and Vanessa Alexander, Director of Alumni Relations, provided the assembled with an update on current initiatives at SFDS and alumni outreach efforts. Many thanks to the event committee—Tommy Davis ’96, John Stuart Gordon ’92, Stevie Howell ’95, Lilah Hume ’00, Dagny Mendelsohn ’93, and Cynthia Yang ’94—who rallied their classmates to attend. We look forward to seeing alumni at future events in San Francisco and beyond!
