I recently returned to the bay area after living in NYC for the past 5 years and am looking for a part-time childcare position. I was an associate teacher for 2 years at SFDS (Kindergarten and 1st grade) and work as a sub there currently. I am an artist with a graduate degree in the visual arts and since my time at the Day School, I taught art in New York City to elementary school-age children. I also have quite a bit of experience working with younger kids – I have had jobs as a nanny for toddlers in both San Francisco and New York. I have found that being an artist makes me a great nanny. I have a curiosity for the world around me that is well matched for most children, as well as a creative, patient and open approach to life.
I have a car and a clean driving record.
