Dear Parents,
Welcome back! To borrow a phrase from the Andy Williams’ classic Christmas song, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” No, I’m not referring to the holiday season, but that magical time known as Back-to-School. Gone are the bored, glazed eyes and constant sibling nitpicking that peak about the third week of August in our household. Instead, I see bright, happy faces that are excited about new and old friends, learning, lockers, and lunch. They’re happier and I’m happier.
I’m looking forward to participating in the many great committees and events this year at SFDS as we celebrate our fantastic 30th anniversary. I hope you’ll join me. Check out our exciting year ahead on the SFDS website under Parents Association.
